Why Hip Twists Matter
Hip twists train your core, strengthen your lower back, and build stability in your legs. You start to move with control, your posture improves, and you feel connected to your body.
How to Practice
Stand tall, feet hip-width apart, knees soft, abs engaged.
Now twist your hips from front to back (diagonal), slow and controlled. Keep your chest still. Add music once you find your rhythm. Feel the shift. The energy builds, your waist tightens, and suddenly your hips are speaking their own language.
Day by Day
Day 1: Finding your form
Day 2: Loosening up
Day 3: Adding layers - arms, attitude, or a smile
Day 4: Feeling your hips flow with the beat
Day 5: Strength and stability
Day 6: Muscle memory kicks in
Day 7: You own it
By the end of day 7, you’re no longer thinking about the move. You’re feeling it. That’s when you “own” your move.
